only schools are observing physical safety ( clean, hygienic)

not observing mental safety ( not sharing problems, struggling )

it is important that schools make their environment open for expression of feelings . it is also crucial that  the school environment inspires in the child the confidence to share his /her problems and struggles. this will happen only when the school, through its teachers and other students communicates acceptance of each child, concern and warmth for them  and creates an environment of trust and mutual respect.

exactly.... first of all school environment should be attract full.

it makes sense that students would do better when they learn in positive environments.

as per educationalists and environmentalists and psychologists agree that some environments are more conducive to learning and academic performance .

Yes that is true about most schools. that is one of the reasons for having a module on Personal-Social qualities- to sensitize school teachers to the importance of taking care of the affective domain. we are now talking about all round development of the children where psychological and mental well being are as important as intellectual /cognitive development. again, just focussing on the physical health is not enough especially since all aspects of development are interrelated. Physical health influences mental well-being and vice-versa
